Behavioral Counseling
Behavior issues can be a sign of your pet's health. If he or she has developed a behavior that you find bothersome (or your pet isn’t quite acting like themselves), we encourage you to give us a call.
Examples of behavior that warrants an examination from a veterinarian are:
- Anxiety, aggression, or noise/storm phobias
- Marking, house-soiling, or house-training issues
- Sleep disorders
- Repetitive or over-grooming behaviors
- Chasing tail and shadows
- Excessive barking or meowing
- Chewing, scratching, or property destruction
- Unruliness
Once the underlying issue of your pet's behavior problem is found, pet behavior can change with consistency and patience. You are not alone if your pet struggles with a behavioral issue, and we want to help so that you have a happy and healthy relationship for many years to come.
